There’s this guy I like so much. I just adore everything he does. I’ve liked him for a long time now, but he thinks of us only as friends. He’s a starter on the Varsity football team & I’m the quiet, “emo” nerd girl who listens to really heavy thrash music. A few of the girls I hang out with think I’m crazy for liking him & that he’s a player & stuff, but I truly don’t think he’s that way. He’s sweet & funny & I have no idea what to do. I have no courage, either. :/ Any advice would help.
I know that this is going to sound tough but I think that your best option is to stay friends with him. It’s going to be tough to regain a friendship once you go through a relationship with them knowing that things won’t be the same as before. And if you were to go out with this guy, your relationship would most likely be one-sided; feelings wouldn’t be as mutual knowing that you see him as more than a friend and he sees you only as just a friend. If you’re happy with where you are as just friends then your best option right now is to keep the friendship that you guys have already. Hope this helped
